Eric

fell in love with cycling in college and became a lifelong mountain biker, an avid road cyclist and expert gravel grinder. When he's not leading tours on dirt roads through rural Virginia, or by the scenic waterways of Maryland's Eastern Shore, he's pedaling his way through places like Tanzania or Sierra Leone and the south of France. When he's not doing any of those things, he's helping guide tours for the DC Cycling Concierge or at home resting his legs and tending to his collection of vintage steel road bikes. Eric is the founder of two of Washington's most stylish annual cycling events, the DC Tweed Ride and Seersucker Social. Eric has an easy-going sociable nature and has a knack for building inclusive communities around his passion for cycling.

Marianne

is a high school history teacher and avid cyclist who enjoys sharing her love of history. She has a master’s degree in International Affairs from George Washington University and worked for the U.S. Department of Commerce for seven years. Originally from California, she raised three children in the DC region and has keen knowledge of the very best family-friendly activities around DC. Her high energy and enthusiasm for U.S. history brings tours alive for guests of all ages.

Mike

has always enjoyed exploring new places in his own backyard and in cities around the world. A licensed tour guide in Washington DC for 20 years, Mike has expanded his guiding to include Philadelphia, New York, and Boston. From easy-going casual rides around the monuments to longer road rides on the backroads around DC, Mike loves taking guests on bike adventures of all types.

Rudi

has a storied history as a mountain bike racer and a nationally ranked alpine ski racer in his home state of Utah. Rudi’s love of cycling has informed and shaped his 20+ years in the nation’s capital. He is the president of Potomac Pedalers, the country’s second-largest recreational cycling club, a cycling coach, and a vocal active transportation advocate in the greater DC area. He loves sharing his passion for riding in the region with guests, whether it’s finding the hidden secrets of DC or taking spirited spins through the nearby countryside. He embodies DC Cycling Concierge’s motto of “Your Ride Your Pace.”
